I love knowing that there is hope for my future; That my issues of the past can be just that–matters of the past! God is a forgiving God, and He wants us to walk in that forgiveness. I rejoice knowing that my slate can be washed clean and that I can take on the identity of Christ.
This morning God wants you to have hope in the things to come. Don’t continue to live in the past, trying to atone for mistakes alone. Instead, give it over to God and let Him lead you; Let God make your path straight. As God’s word says, “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” GOD’s Decree” ( Jeremiah 29:13 MSG). The keyword is getting serious. We can not expect to see God move in our lives if we’re playing around or not truly believing.
Have Faith in this, “You can count on it” (Jeremiah 29:14). That’s God’s promise! In His Word, He says that “He will never leave us nor forsake us” ( see Hebrews 13:5). That is hope, knowing that no matter where we are in life, God will be there. More importantly, if we turn to Him, He will turn things around and bring us through. So, let there be hope in your hearts today and every day moving forward.
