Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Psalms 62:1-2 KJV
Good Morning Beautiful,
Happy Hump Day!! We finally made it mid-week, and I know many of us are anticipating the weekend. My prayer for you is:
God touch the hearts of your people today. Open up their understanding to give them your wisdom and knowledge. As we continue along with this journey, I pray that we will wait with anticipation in our hearts, hoping for the best that only you can give. I pray that we shift from believing in you to believe you, Jesus. That like Job, we say, “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.”(Job 42:5 KJV); in Jesus’ name, I pray–Amen!
This morning there is great anticipation that God will and can show up in your life. However, I don’t want only to shine a light on blessings this morning but to unveil our hearts’ true intentions. God is looking for faithful and devoted servants; people who aren’t just waiting to walk into the promised land but for those that want to grow more intimately with God.
Look at this morning’s scripture! It describes a person with unwavering faith, someones whose trust is solely in God that they will wait, and because of God’s strength, they can not be moved! How powerful is that? Is this person you?
I have said it before, and I will repeat it, God is the promise maker and the promise keeper. He wants us to not only walk in the abundance of His grace and mercy, but He wants us to do it by trusting in Him.
If you are walking in doubt and unbelief, don’t be afraid and most definitely don’t be ashamed. You won’t be the first, and you won’t be the last. Instead, let God in to change those doubts in you. Grow in anticipation, knowing that God is the true living king! God loves you, and He wants the best for you, but you have to believe that there is better for you. Anticipate the best for your life and the lives of others.
I leave you with this “Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.” (1 John 2:15-17 MSG)
