Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequent questions and answers
Why the Name Bulletproof Luv?
When I imagine God’s Love I picture a bulletproof vest. We experience a lot of things throughout our lives. Sometimes it feels as though disasters are coming our way. No matter the force or the weapon that is used, the most important thing is protected, and that is your heart.
What Makes Your Blog Stand Out?
Well, I can say that there are a lot of blogs, podcast, youtube channels that speaks on the very same thing that I have chosen to write about. I feel that, with this topic everyone can bring about a different perspective. I believe that this is something God has called me to do and I have faith that He will make room for me.
What is your best piece of advice you would give to someone who is currently single?
Oh goodness! Well for starters in your Season of singleness, take this time to truly work on yourself! One thing that I have learned is that relationships aren’t made, they’re built. Before you can get in a relationship with someone else you first have to build one within yourself. It takes time and it requires that you seek God though it all.
Be a solid foundation before you try to merge with someone else!
How do you not become impatient with waiting?
I would be lying if I told you it was easy. Waiting is a hard process. At times, I find that God send me small reminders as to why I want to wait.
Let’s face it, if you look at the world today, the relationship goals that are out there hold no value. There is no substance and without substance you are left with complacencies. I’ve been there and done that. This time around, I Want Love and that is what I am Choosing.
How do you feel about dating within the church?
I clearly need to write a post about this one. Truthfully, even within the church you still have to me mindful. The word of God says to test the tree by the fruit that it bears. He makes that statement for a reason. Just because they are in the CHURCH does not mean that they are a man/woman of God. Don’t be fooled by church goers and mistake them for followers of Christ.
To say that at a young age, I planned a mediocre life for myself, My God! just foolish. God you have exceeded my expectations and I have come to realize that my season of singleness was for you to grow the woman that you saw in me all along. This chapter has definitely taken me by surprise. I may have had to make some edits to this chapter, but this time, no one or nothing is going to control the VOICE that God has given me!
