This Is Just The Beginning

While in prayer, God laid this on my heart ” I will take you higher than the mountains.” too often, we remain complacent out of fear. We are scared to see all that God has for us. When I heard that saying, it reminds me of Matthew 4:1-11 when Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. In these scriptures it talks about how the devil tried to tempt God by offering him a variation of promises. One of those promises in particular comes from verse 8-9 when it says, “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Satan tried to tempt God by making claims that he could give him the world. What we know and should be reminded of is that everything in this life already belongs to God. So, when God says He will take you higher than the mountains believe that through everything, He will provide.
I fall short sometimes and ask God, “Why Me?” but I am reminded daily of God’s grace and mercy. I have to remind myself that He is the potter and I am the clay. So, as He continues to move in my life, I want to write and share what God has placed on my heart.
The only thing that I ask of you is to share! also, leave a comment because I want to hear what you have to say. If I can in any way bring clarity to something that you or someone you know is struggling with, then I want to be there. So, don’t be afraid to say what is on your mind.
